The Virtual Mentoring Network Mission
The mission of The Virtual Mentoring Network is to provide consistent education and mentorship, exposure to resource and opportunity and to empower minority male youth. The Virtual Mentorships Network is available to young men between the ages of 13 and 25 who are seeking mentorship with the targeted outcomes being the formation of positive life paths that are affirmed with purpose, meaning, and personal prosperity.

Mentorship in Action
The Virtual Mentoring Network is a national collaborative initiative driven by The Man to Man Project based out of Detroit, MI and Empowering Mentorships based out of San Diego. The Virtual Mentoring Network seeks to address the challenges that are facing African American male youth by leveraging a virtual platform providing digital mentorship, a for black men by black men book club and career based workshops and trainings that are designed to provide career guidance and skill development. The Virtual Mentorship Network launched in January of 2021 as a response to the need for mentorship in a virtual environment.
Our Core Values
Every month the Virtual Mentoring Network discusses and collaborates on value lesson topics that we have identified as important in the development of African American male youth. These topics range from Character and Integrity, to Professional Dress, to Finance and Business. The goal of each monthly meeting and value lesson discussion is driven by long term objectives that will propel the mentees into positive life outcomes.
Education For Us, By Us
The Virtual Mentoring Network provides a quarterly book club that consists of books written by African American authors and intended for African American male readers. We utilize the book club as a component in the overall mission towards Access to Education and Resources and building positive life habits and literacy.
